Pickled White Onions Recipe

Pickled white onions are a versatile, tangy, and crunchy addition to any meal. Whether you’re topping tacos, burgers, or salads, this quick and easy recipe will transform your dishes with minimal effort.

Equipment

  • Mason jar
  • Tea Kettle
  • Knife
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium White onions thinly sliced
  • 1 cup White vinegar
  • 1 ½ cups Boiled water
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Chop the white onions into thin slices. Pack the sliced onions tightly into a clean mason jar until it’s full.
  • Step 2: Pour 1 cup of white vinegar over the onions. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • Step 3: Carefully pour boiled water into the jar, filling it to the top. Make sure all the onions are submerged.
  • Step 4: Seal the jar tightly and place it in the refrigerator. Let the onions pickle for at least 12 hours before enjoying.
