These Smash Burger Tacos combine the best of both worlds—juicy burger patties cooked right into a tortilla and topped with fresh veggies and your favourite sauces. Quick, easy, and packed with flavour!

Smash Burger Tacos

Ingredients You’ll Need

For the Ground beef:

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Toppings:

  • Medium-sized flour tortillas
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Diced white onion
  • Your favourite burger sauces (mayo, ketchup, mustard, aioli)

How to Make Smash Burger Tacos

1. Prepare the Beef Mixture – In a bowl, mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

2. Smash & Cook – Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Take a portion of the beef mixture, place it in the pan, and smash it down with a spatula to form a thin patty.

3. Flip & Cook – Cook each side for about 2 minutes each - because they are so thin they cook quick. Once the beef is almost cooked add the tortilla on top and cook both sides.

4. Assemble the Tacos – Remove from the pan and add shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, diced onions, and your favourite sauces.

5. Serve & Enjoy – Fold like a taco and enjoy!
