Pretzel Almond Bark

By Juliana Crimi, RD February 12 2026

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

There are so many chocolate bark recipes floating around the internet, and I’ve made more than a few. But this pretzel almond bark is one of my favourite combinations.

It hits that perfect balance of sweet, salty and crunch, the kind of treat that feels indulgent but still simple and satisfying. It’s also incredibly easy to make, no baking required, and totally customizable.

This is the kind of dessert you keep in the freezer and break into pieces whenever a chocolate craving hits.

Tips for the Best Bark

  • Don’t over-crush the pretzels - you want some texture
  • Use good-quality dark chocolate for the best flavour
  • A little flaky salt goes a long way
  • Store leftovers in the fridge or freezer

Fun Variations to Try

  • Swap almond butter for peanut butter
  • Use milk or semi-sweet chocolate if you prefer it sweeter
  • Add dried cranberries or coconut flakes
  • Drizzle white chocolate on top
