This homemade potato and rosemary pizza combines thinly sliced potatoes, onions, rosemary, and melty mozzarella for an untraditional Italian pizza combo that’s perfect for your next pizza night!

This pizza uses a olive oil and cream sauce layer instead of the classic tomato sauce base.

Potato and Rosemary Pizza

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 yellow potatoes (very thinly sliced using a mandolin if available)
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1–2 tablespoon cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1–2 teaspoon rosemary (fresh or dried)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

How to Make Potato & Rosemary Pizza

1. Preheat the Oven – Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Prepare the dough – Roll out your pizza dough and transfer it to a greased pizza pan or lined baking sheet.

3. Prep the Toppings - Peel and thinly slice potatoes. Shred mozzarella. Slice onions.

4. Add the Base – Brush the dough lightly with cream.

5. Layer the Toppings – Evenly layer on thinly sliced potatoes. Top with shredded cheese and sliced onions. Sprinkle rosemary on top.

6. Bake – Bake for 20–25 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
