Final Thoughts

FAQ: Lemon Balsamic Dressing

Can I make lemon balsamic dressing ahead of time?

Yes! This dressing is perfect for making ahead. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5–7 days. Shake or whisk well before using.

Can I use bottled lemon juice instead of fresh?

Fresh lemon juice is recommended for the best flavour, especially since lemon is a key ingredient. However, bottled lemon juice can be used.

Is this lemon balsamic dressing vegan?

It can be! Simply use maple syrup instead of honey to make the dressing completely vegan.

What salads pair best with lemon balsamic dressing?

This dressing pairs well with arugula, spinach, mixed greens, Mediterranean salads, grain bowls, and roasted vegetable salads.

Why did my dressing separate?

Separation is normal for homemade dressings without preservatives. Just shake or whisk it again before serving.
