Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 3 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • Unsweetened coconut flakes (for rolling)

Directions

1. Prepare the dates: If the dates are not already pitted, remove the pits.

2. Blend ingredients: Add the pitted dates, water, and cocoa powder to a food processor. Blend until the mixture is smooth and sticky. If the mixture isn’t sticking together, add a bit more water.

3. Form balls: Use your hands or a mini ice cream scoop to shape the mixture into small balls.

4. Coat in coconut: Roll each ball in unsweetened coconut flakes until fully coated.

5. Serve and enjoy: Enjoy immediately or store in the pantry for later.
