Chocolate Raspberry Overnight Oats

If you love the combination of chocolate and raspberries, these Chocolate Raspberry Overnight Oats will become a new favourite. They’re creamy, indulgent, and packed with bright raspberry flavour, making them feel like dessert for breakfast but with all the nourishment of oats, chia seeds, and milk.

This recipe comes together in minutes and uses frozen raspberries, making it a budget-friendly and accessible breakfast year-round.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ⅔ cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 tablespoon raspberry jam
  • A handful of frozen raspberries
  • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder

Directions 

  1. Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, and salt to a jar or container. Mix well.
  2. Stir in the raspberry jam and frozen raspberries.
  3. Pour in the milk and maple syrup (if using). Mix until fully combined.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours.
  5. In the morning, stir again. Add a splash of milk if needed.

 Optional toppings: extra raspberries, chocolate chips, Greek yogurt.

Optional Add-Ins & Variations

  • Protein boost: Add ¼ scoop chocolate protein powder + more milk.
  • Raspberry cheesecake: Top with Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of granola.
  • Extra chocolate: Add mini chocolate chips before serving.

Storage

Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Can I use fresh raspberries?

Absolutely just stir them directly into the oats.

Can I skip the jam?

Yes, but it helps boost the raspberry flavour. If skipping, add extra berries.

How do I make it sweeter?
