- Pop the popcorn - Add ½ cup popcorn kernels to a brown paper bag, fold the top over a few times, and microwave using the popcorn setting (or until popping slows).
- Transfer to a bowl - Carefully pour popcorn into a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels.
- Melt chocolate - add about ½ of chocolate into a bowl and melt in the microwave until softened.
- Add melted chocolate - Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the popcorn.
- Mix - Gently stir until the popcorn is evenly coated.
- Spread & set - Spread the popcorn in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let the chocolate harden. Add more chocolate if desired.
- Finish & serve - top with some flaky seat salt and place back in a bowl once chocolate is hardened to enjoy!
