Banana Chocolate Overnight Oats

If you’re a fan of chocolate and banana together, this Banana Chocolate Overnight Oats recipe needs to be added to your morning rotation.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ⅔ cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional I prefer for some sweetness)
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • ½ mashed banana

Directions

  1. Add rolled oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, and salt to a jar or container. Stir to combine.
  2. Mix in the mashed banana.
  3. Pour in the milk and maple syrup (if using). Stir well until everything is evenly mixed.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  5. In the morning, give it a stir and add a splash of milk if it’s too thick.

Optional Add-Ins & Variations

  • Protein boost: Add ¼–½ scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder + a splash of extra milk.
  • Extra creamy: Stir in 2 tablespoon Greek yogurt.
